A combination of Eggs with Rice is good and why don’t you try this recipe to make it veggie, egg tasty lunch for you?
Ingredients:
- Eggs – 4 eggs
- Boiled rice – 2 cups
- Chilli powder – 2 tbsp.
- Salt to taste
- Oil – 2 to3 tbsp.
- Few corriander leaves
- Few mint leaves
- Cinnamon stick – 1
- Cloves – 4
- Vinegar – 1 spoon
- Soya sauce – 1 tbsp.
- Ajinomoto – a pinch
- Garam masala powder – 1 tbsp.
- Onions – 1 chopped
- Chillies – 4 chopped
- Turmeric for colour
- Ground Pepper – 2 tbsp.
How to prepare Boiled rice :
- Wash rice well and drained for 10 minutes.
- Add 4 cups water for 2 cups rice One tbsp. salt and one tbsp. oil is added to it .
- mix well and cook under pressure for 11 min.
- Remove lid and allow it to cool.
- We are ready to make tasty fried rice.
How to cook Egg Fried Rice:
- In a pan take one tbsp. oil and heat.
- Then add beaten eggs, a pinch of salt, a pinch of chilly powder, one tbsp. pepper to it and stir gently till the egg scrambled into little shreds .
- Fried well and take the item into a bowl.
- Add 2-3 tbsp. oil and add cinnamon stick, cloves, chopped chillies in the same pan and fried.
- Add onions and fry until golden brown colour.
- One tbsp. of kasoori methi (dried fenugreek leaves powder), one tbsp. Garam masala powder, one tbsp. chat masala powder, half tbsp. turmeric, 1 tbsp. pepper is added to it and fry for a while.
- The flavours from cinnamon, cloves and kasoori methi etc. diffuses throughout the home and to your neighbor’s.
- If you want to make it with veggies, add chopped veggies here at this step (carrot, lettuce and broccoli).
- Then add vinegar, ajinomoto, mint leaves and soya sauces, to it and stir well.
- Transfer boiled rice and coriander into it and mix well.
- Fried and mix the boiled rice well in order to all the ingredients to mix.
- Tasty Egg fried rice is ready to eat.
Tips:
Do cook in simmer.
- If you wanna make it in Chinese style add more soya sauce, vinegar, chilli sauce, tomoto sauce and spring onion stems for seasoning.
- Eat while hot.
- Use microwave for reheat.
