Onion-Bell peppers Fry is quite easy and tasty recipe to learn and takes 20 mins time to cook. This recipe can be followed for a quick meal during busy schedule.
Ingredients:
- Bell peppers – 6(diced)
- Onions – 2 big (diced)
- Chillies – 4 (slit)
- Salt
- Chilli powder – 1 tbsp
- Oil – 3 tbsp
How to prepare bell peppers for cooking:
Wash the fresh yellow and red bell peppers with clean water.
Pierce the top green portion of the bell pepper(shoot) with knife once equally halved into two pieces. Once the stem is removed again sliced into another two halves.
Make vertical slits to the halves and diced them horizontally.
How to make Bell Peppers Fry :
Heat oil in a pan and add slit chillies into it.
Add diced onion pieces and fry well for 5 minutes.
Then add diced bell peppers and fry well for 10 minutes.
- Add salt and chilli powder and mix well, then Place a lid and leave for 15 minutes on simmer.
- Stir fry occasionally.
- Remove lid and set the flame in high and Fry well for 2-5 minutes.
- Tasty onion bell peppers fry is ready to eat with Rice or Chapathi.
Tips:
- You can do the same recipe with yellow peppers or orange peppers or green peppers.
- Don’t go with red peppers they are sweeten. So add some green peppers with red peppers.
