Coconut Burfi

The coconut meat is high in healthy with fat, protein and fiber. If you gonna make a quick delicious sweet, try this one.


  • Fresh  Coconuts – 1cup ( Freshly grated)
  • Sugar – 1 cup
  • Milk – 1 cup
  • Ghee – 2 tbsps.

How to prepare coconut Burfi:

  1. Heat a cooking pan, add grated coconut and sugar and mix well.
  2. Add milk to the above mix.
  3. cook well in simmer with lid.
  4. Occasional stirring is needed until the mix gets thicker, closer and sticky.
  5. Remove lid and cook well until the mixture looks semisolid and thicker.
  6. Transfer into a plate which is applied with ghee.
  7. Spread the sweet evenly using a flat bowl, so that it looks flat on the top.
  8. Leave it for a few minutes to get hard.
  9. Slice the cake into diamond shaped pieces while it is semi-hot.
  10. Serve the pieces to everyone in the house.
