The coconut meat is high in healthy with fat, protein and fiber. If you gonna make a quick delicious sweet, try this one.
Ingredients:
- Fresh Coconuts – 1cup ( Freshly grated)
- Sugar – 1 cup
- Milk – 1 cup
- Ghee – 2 tbsps.
How to prepare coconut Burfi:
- Heat a cooking pan, add grated coconut and sugar and mix well.
- Add milk to the above mix.
- cook well in simmer with lid.
- Occasional stirring is needed until the mix gets thicker, closer and sticky.
- Remove lid and cook well until the mixture looks semisolid and thicker.
- Transfer into a plate which is applied with ghee.
- Spread the sweet evenly using a flat bowl, so that it looks flat on the top.
- Leave it for a few minutes to get hard.
- Slice the cake into diamond shaped pieces while it is semi-hot.
- Serve the pieces to everyone in the house.
Tips:
- It can be store for a week.
- Do cook in simmer.
