Coconut Laddus

Jaggery is good for health in speeds up the digestion in our body, which is rich in minerals and mainly iron. Both coconut and Jaggery are fibre based foods and can be cooked in simple way with only 3 ingredients.


  • Coconut – 1 cup (grated/shredded)
  • Jaggery – 1 cup (grated/shredded)
  • Cardamom powder – 1tbspGhee – 1tbsp.

How to prepare coconut Laddus:

  1. Heat pan and add grated coconut and grated jaggery.
  2. Mix well and cook well in simmer.
  3. Jaggery starts to dissolve and looks like syrup.
  4. Cook continuously until the content become closer and thick.
  5. Add cardamom powder, ghee and mix well.
  6. Put off the flame and kept the content aside.
  7. Make the content into equally lime-sized balls by pressing, rotating and twisting in between the palms greased with ghee.


Make laddus before the content gets cooled.
