Summer in India… it is very hot. We feel very weak and dehydrated even after a small outing. Sago Malt Drink is a good refreshment in such cases and makes your body cool.
Ingredients:
- Sagu pearls (extremely good to reduce the body temperature) – 1/4 th cup
- Sugar (energetic) – 1/2 cup
- Water – 1 cup
- Milk – 1 cup
How to cook:
- Soak Sago in water overnight.
- Add equal amounts of water to milk and boil at 100 degrees.
- Incubated sago is added to above milk and cooked until the sago becomes soft and transparent.
- Stir continuously while adding sugar into the boiling milk.
- Serve hot
*TIP: Same preparation can be made without adding milk as well.
