Spicy Potato Wedges


  • Potatoes : 5
  • Salt to taste
  • Corn flour : 1 tbsp
  • Extra hot chilli powder : 1 tbsp
  • Black pepper powder : 1tbsp
  • Chat masala powder : 1 tbsp
  • Oil for deep fry

How to make Spicy Potato Wedges:

  1. Wash the potatoes with water and peel off the skin.
  2. Rinse the potatoes in fresh water and pat dry.
  3. Cut them with a clean knife into two equal halves.
  4. Then slice the each half into equal size and separate the wedges.
  5. Air dry the wedges. Mean while do the other preparation for cooking.
  6. In a mixing bowl add corn flour, Extra hot chilli powder, Black pepper powder, Chat masala powder, salt and mix well.
  7. Then mix the potato wedges in the flour mixture and make sure that all the wedges coated with the flour mixture.
  8. Drop few flour coated wedges in the hot boiling oil on high flame.
  9. Turn flame to medium and fry the wedges.
  10. Check the crispness of the wedges and transfer the fried wedges on to the tissue paper to remove excess oil.
  11. Hot, Crispy, Spicy Potato wedges are ready to taste.
  12. Enjoy it with tomato ketchup, curry sauce or like a side dish for rice and as a evening snacks.
