Ingredients:
- Potatoes : 5
- Salt to taste
- Corn flour : 1 tbsp
- Extra hot chilli powder : 1 tbsp
- Black pepper powder : 1tbsp
- Chat masala powder : 1 tbsp
- Oil for deep fry
How to make Spicy Potato Wedges:
- Wash the potatoes with water and peel off the skin.
- Rinse the potatoes in fresh water and pat dry.
- Cut them with a clean knife into two equal halves.
- Then slice the each half into equal size and separate the wedges.
- Air dry the wedges. Mean while do the other preparation for cooking.
- In a mixing bowl add corn flour, Extra hot chilli powder, Black pepper powder, Chat masala powder, salt and mix well.
- Then mix the potato wedges in the flour mixture and make sure that all the wedges coated with the flour mixture.
- Drop few flour coated wedges in the hot boiling oil on high flame.
- Turn flame to medium and fry the wedges.
- Check the crispness of the wedges and transfer the fried wedges on to the tissue paper to remove excess oil.
- Hot, Crispy, Spicy Potato wedges are ready to taste.
- Enjoy it with tomato ketchup, curry sauce or like a side dish for rice and as a evening snacks.
